About Mohan
With a career spanning over three decades across government, corporate, and entrepreneurial landscapes, I bring a unique blend of experience, insight, and purpose to everything I do.
My journey began in 1985 when I earned a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Monash University—an education that gave me a solid foundation in leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical problem-solving. These core skills empowered me to thrive in complex environments and lead with both clarity and impact.
My Journey
In 1998, I further deepened my expertise with a Master of Taxation Degree, equipping me with advanced knowledge in tax law, policy, and financial strategy. For many years, I served as a Tax Auditor in SME and Large business International, Corporate Clients area.
I also served as a Dispute Resolution Officer and in Taxpayer Education delivering education to taxpayers on behalf of the ATO. I was entrusted with the responsibility of promoting tax compliance, reviewing financials with precision, and advocating for fair outcomes in the objections and appeals process—always championing both integrity and transparency in the system
From Public Service to Entrepreneur
In 2009, I made a bold leap from public service to entrepreneurship, becoming a franchisee in the mattress industry. This hands-on business experience taught me the realities of customer service, operational excellence, and what it truly takes to build a thriving business.
I attended a Business bootcamp with kane minkus world renowned business development guru and he was my mentor for a short few weeks in my business while he was in australia few years back.
A Leap Into Independent Business
In 2014, I stepped fully into independence, founding Royal Sleep Mattress Factory—a direct factory outlet committed to delivering quality, comfort, and value to every customer.
My Mission with Vision to Venture
Now, I’m on a mission to give back. I understand what it feels like to be stuck, uncertain, or searching for direction. That’s why I’ve created Vision to Venture, a 7-step coaching framework designed to help individuals—whether in a corporate role or running a business—unlock their potential, define their path, and build their personal success formula.
